Hptm Heinz Hinkes WIA
On July 14 1944 the transport pilot Hptm. Heinz Hinkes (Knights Cross Holder) was WIA. Any infos of this loss? Unit maybe IV./TG 4, based in LeBourget/France. Hinkes was the TO of this group, equipped with former french light bombers LeO 451.
Hinkes was heavily wounded and saw no further service in WW2.
