According to the known sources, the series production of B-5 variant was to commence on May 1945 by Erla and on July 1945 by Gotha, but it was not actualized due to the critical situation of the war.
However, E-1 variant had been actually produced by MMW at Erfurt-Nord since February 1945.

Regarding the confirmation of "photo recon variant", there is unfortunately no identification of camera-related installations in my photos.
But one photo shows another feature of “photo reconnaissance” Ta 152, which was completely different from other variants.
I attached the photo below and maybe you can find some sort of “difference” in it.

The detail of Ta 152 E-1 will be described in forthcoming issues of “Scale Aviation” magazine together with the most improved line drawings of this variant.
