FYI, #16 was achieved on 22.10.43, and #18 was on 06.11.43.
Unfortunately, Wolfrum doesn't provide any details in the narrative about his 17th, 18th and 19th victories. No details about his aircraft either, except for the action on 22.10.43, when his 109 was severely damaged by two heavy-caliber shells (one in the wing and one in the fuselage behind him.) It somehow held together and he was able to fly it back to base at Ursin and make a successful belly-landing.

18 was probably a LaGG of 25 IAP. If you are Zhenya have any details of the opponents, I would be very interested and grateful. |
