Looks like a preproduction aircraft without tactical squadron markings. (?). W/Nr. 310001 looks much clearer in Snautzer’s photograph. Wondering with the war situation and the crash, the aircraft was just left there as is? The flaps look retracted.
Also of interest is the BMW 003 exhaust outlet nozzle looks to be extended. Now wondering if this is an A-1 with the MK 108-30mm installed? W/Nr. 310003 on the train car heading to France at wars end is so close the W/Nr. (310003) and it shows the larger MK 108’s shell ejection chutes on the lower fuselage to great purpose secured on the train car.
So many questions surrounding this photograph. Thanks Gents.
I like the newer photograph with the main wheel stencil so clearly legible on Snautzer‘s clear photograph with the port main gear hyper extended.
