Sadly the probability of the accident being related to an engine fire is greater than that of a RAF claim that night or day.

KG 100 did have several engine fires too and accidents (fatals)...I tried to find a He 111 Picture, but mine was taken at Sables d'Olonnes on 1940....a belly landing....no match for place and year (and type of accident)...Sorry.
