Copyright rules are as strict here in Europe as it is in the US. The problem with WW II photos is that it is quite often nearly impossible to find the person who has the copyright. That you have a print of the photo does not mean that you have the copy right. A lot of photos were copied during the war and sold in shops. These pictures pop up almost everywhere and a lot of people claim the right to them because they think that they have the original photo.

I have been getting a couple of good shots of the Russian planes.
