Thanks Snautzer! Most of my material is copies, and this is best in the workshop! That 601/603/605 compilation is very overpriced for a copy, IMO. I think the seller would sell many if he just sold them at about 100 Euro.
If it is original, it is worth that price.
Thank you for encouraging the debate here! I can say that, working on these engines for 30 years, we have found many contradictions and confusions. Today, the mysteries of the 605 up to about the 605AS are completely understood for the flying engines. However, as I say, technical documentation is lacking for some of the late engines. There is no chance that anyone will try to operate a late engine at power above the 1.42/2800 rating but, it will be great to know the technical details of the late engines and, get this information into the history books, not the present mixture that is inaccurate in many aspects.
