It is interesting that the J Report on Curtis puts the crash about at 48.533481, -3.847136 (about 1 km East of Kervenarc'hant). Again this is not near the MACR reported crash site as reported by Lt. Cassady.

Thus it would appear that for both these crashes the accompanying pilot's eyewitness statements are wrong. While they both saw the planes crash, their "reported" crash sites are miles away from the "actual" crash site. I have often found this true for fighter MACRs with eyewitness statements . They are just plain "wrong" about the locations of crashes they witnessed or trains they shot up. Anyone else have similar experiences?
