The DB605AS is indeed a version of the DB605A motor. This is defined in the partslist for the 605AS and is shown by the fact that, that partslist only covers the different parts that are needed to build a 605AS from a 605A. I have not found an original German document that defines the abbreviation as "DB605ASonder". Cheers
