Just found out an interrogation report of Oblt Siegfried Heer from 3.(F)/Nacht.
Downed by light AA artillery 17.Aug.43, bailed out 5 km NE Yedrovo (160 km SE Novgorod) and tried to escape (some part of the way he used the plane's inflatable boat). 21.Aug.43 he was captured near Yazhelbitsy (~50 km from Yedrovo). It was unknown to Heer but the rest of crew KIA during the crash of Do217K-1. The crew is listed correctly (as in GQM return) with addition that
Lt Mayer wasn't a crewmember but trainee, it was his 2nd sortie.
The unit had 6 Do217K-1/E-4 (apart from downed Heer's plane), 2 Do17 and 1 liaison Go145. On 18.Aug.43 the unit had 10 crews (40 crewmembers), incl.6 officers.
Among other things, such as the life and career of Siegfried Heer, the list of officers of 3.(F)/Nacht (from the words of Heer) maybe interesting. All surnames in the document are written in cyrillic of course, it is the reverse transliteration.
Staka Oblt Benz or Bentz (Бенц), navigator, awards - DKG, EK1, EK2 [maybe Karl Bentz in Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries]
Deputy commander Oblt Harbich (Харбих), navigator, awards - EK1, EK2 [apparently Heinrich Herpich]
Oblt Glitz (Глитц), technical officer, pilot, awards - EK1, EK2 [no doubt Richard Glitz]
Oblt Eckert (Эккерт), photo officer, navigator, awards - DKG, EK1, EK2 [no doubt Rolf Eckert]
Lt Neugebauer (Нойгебауэр), navigator [can't find in Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries]
Lt Lorenz (Лоренц), navigator, club head [?]

It is specific source but, as written in conclusion, Siegfried Heer testified willingly and at ease, and the data known to Int.Dept are correspond to the words of the POW.
Best regards,
