Great series of photos, but I believe that Thimmig claimed another a/c shot down on 6 September 1943, here's the entry in the Nachtjagd Combat Archive series:

Maj. Wolfgang Thimmig Stab III./NJG101 B-17 2 km SW Plüderhausen near Waiblingen: 6.000 m. 10.55 B-17F 42-30300 ‘Hell-N-Back’ 95 BG/334 BS. Note: claim not listed in OKL/RLM Stab III./NJG101 Confirmed Abschussübersicht. Maj. Thimmig noted in his Flugbuch: ‘120th ops. sortie, 6.9.43. 10.27-11.04, Tagjagd near Stutgart. 10.55 Abschuss of a Fortress-Boeing 2 km SW Plüderhausen near Waiblingen (claim not confirmed).’
