Original Me262 ground running 25 Sep 2019!
The restored Me262 with original restored Jumo 004B turbojets has been ground run and can be seen on the facebook site of the Flying heritage and combat armor museums Facebook site. I think there are two recordings, the first with setting up and the second with a full power run at the end. As usual, with setting up and trial running, this sequence is a little slow at first but, to the great credit of the filming, it continues right through the process and, is all the better for that! Worth a watch! Never thought I would see or hear a modern recording of one of these running, a very distinctive sound.
