A senior moment. I apologize. To me also the photo shows "E3+52" and I have no idea of the werknummer.
To add to the confusion, since Griehl mentions Heidfeld, from Simon Schatz's site depicting his profile of "M34", he gives, referencing Verluste der deutschen Luftwaffe in Osterrich September 1943 bis Mai 1945, "... On (March 31st 1945) three Heinkel 162's made an intermediate landing there after the Heinkel factory had to be evacuated. One aircraft overshot the runway and overturned. Pieces of wreckage possibly from this aircraft were still scattered there after the war." This may or may not relate to E3+52.
E3 Rechlin was responsible for engine trials.
