Re: Attack at RR Staion Lindwedel Lower Saxonia 15.10.1944

The 78th FG flew a "Rhubarb" on the 15th operating from Hanover to the north. They lost one plane 42-28544 (83rd FS) flown by Jack LaGrange in the Heber / Soltau area. MACR 9499 is here: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/91073868

Note the MACR describes they were on a Rhubarb misssion and had "made a pass on a train in the Hanover area about 9:50".

There were probably other groups on the Rhubarb, but the 78th is one possibility. (The attack on Lindwedel was apparently at about 9:00 - German time).
