Thanks for your fine spotting ! This wedge is indeed known on various NAGr. machines, and has also been noted on III./EJG 1 machines found at Hodkovice in May 1945.
The photo we discuss shows with high probability Erla built Bf 109 G-14 W.Nr. unknown "Gelbe 12", possibly from an unknown NAGr, found at Kassel-Rothwesten in May 1945 as evidenced by the conspicuous RLM 02 (?) repair patch on the lower rear fuselage, visible just in front of the tail wheel. This specific feature is also to be seen on other photos available from that particular machine.
