I only know one book which gives a more or less complete picture of the fighter units, and that is our own Dénes Bérnad's Hungarian Fighter Colours 1930-45 vol 1.

I assume the bomber/recce/transport units followed the same general structure. It is a complicated picture painted on 17 pages in all, with numerous changes and so on. (Comparing this with the Swedish situation, which would have sufficed with one or maybe two pages... )

Don't know if our Hungarian friends here on TOCH would like to have a go, but I can't really say if it is possible to short cut the structures or not.

However I can recommend the book (Vol 2 as well!)
