According to Aces High - Battle of France and Britain ace John Reynolds Cock was posted to the 93rd FS, 81st FG around Oct 42. It was only a brief stay before going to 222 Sqn RAF. I doubt he flew any operations and was probably attached for instructor duties. Cock was an Australian in the RAF (40674). Following above posting he was attached to No.1 Spitfire Wing in Northern Australia during 1943 as supernumery and instructor before returning to the UK and completing another tour flying Tempests with 3 Sqn RAF.
