Aircraft is 450 Squadron RAAF Kittyhawk III, FR249/OK-F which forced landed in sand dunes and onto beach north of El Daba after combat with Bf 109s on 22 October 1942. Pilot Sgt Gordon Lindsay RAAF was captured, POW.


Col Bruggy's previous message mentions Sgt Holloway's aircraft FR239 but this was coded OK-S.


How can I get a copy of this photo. Ebay is obviously in German. Can you contact seller privately.
