Hello Ed,

Thanks for your reply. I hate to sound like an arsenal but it is information like what is stored on wilipedia on this particular incident that I am particularly trying to disprove and get to the bottom of. I know you dont know my intentions so it's not your fault. This incident has been misreported by so many sources over time that the truth is not always clear. My paper is going to try and be the best case study to date of what 'actually' happened.

Yes indeed, but a DO18 was engaged by RAF Lockheed Hudsons over the North Sea on the night of 3rd September 1939. Brian Cull was clear that 6 he-111 were actually in the area on 6th. Thays what I need to find out.
