the second loss of a B-17 near Stapelburg on 12 Sep 1944 concerned the 43-38214 (MACR 8864, 1st Lt Alfred Louis Goodman crew, 2 KIA, 6 POW, casualty no./Abschuß-Nr. KU 2891).
