Two questions:
1) Can the airplane at far left be identified as a USN SBC2/SBW Helldiver produced by Canadian Car & Foundry at same airport? (
Port Arthur and Fort William were twin cities, now called Thunder Bay)
2) The 4 x Canso used in the DDT experiment in May 1945 were drawn from RCAF Eastern Command.
I wonder from just one of the 4-5 Canso squadrons at that time in Eastern Command or were these 'pool' aircraft?
