Joe Baugher website indicates that it is the B-25D 41-29996 belonging to 310th BG, 380th BS and shot down by Bf 109G-6 of JG 53/I . Plane and crew crashed into sea 18 km NE of Stromboli, Italy Sep 8, 1943. MACR 716. 6 KIA.
