Hello Gentlemen,


There is an account in Balke's book on K.Gr. 100 about Major Kuster's He 111 being damaged by a Soviet fighter over Moscow on or about 26 July 1941 and flying back to Deblin airfield for repairs. This story has been reproduced in more than one publication. The only problem is that I can not find a report for an aircraft lost or damaged from K.Gr 100 for the month of July in the Gen Q 6 list. Is this just a tall tale or is there a record of the event ?
