Thanks to the assistance of Bertrand in identifying Burg Hohenzollern and Ulm in the photos, there is a strong possibility that DFW C.I C.1527/15 belonged to FEA 10 at nearby Böblingen. This stengthened by the fact that according to Jack Herris DW aircraft of WWI P.73 quoting Peter M Grosz the aircraft type was removed from the front and that other aircraft in the C.1500/15 to C.1528/15 batch are known to have served with other training units.
