Poor resolution indeed! As far as I can see the capture reads "Unsere Luft???? (Lufthelden????) werden ausgezeichnet mit dem E.K.2"
There is no mention if this is indeed the FIRST EK II awarded in the KG 54 as a Geschwader or the FIRST EK II in a specific Staffel or Gruppe.
FYI: if I'm not mistaken I remember seeing an entry in a FB of KG 54 that said that in Mai 1940 after 10 combat missions the EK II was awarded.
