If I were you I would actually go along with Neil's (Falke Eins) assessment.
He is usually standing with his feet pretty solid on the ground.
Reading the other reviews, the feeling I get is they have no idea what the German intentions were, and are very impressed with getting what they call "the German viewpoint".
I also confess that I lifted an eybrow or two when I saw the authors name.
Don't believe Paul Crickmore has ever ventured outside the A-12/SR-71 familly aircraft before?
Know nothing about Doug Dildy though...
Interestingly enough I decided to check my own bookshelves to see what I already have regarding the Battle, and found I actually have no dedicated German book about it. Only non-British author is actually Christer Bergström....
Anyway this book is nothing for me
