Re: RAF raid on Munich 5th June 1940
Dutch and Netherlands East Indies newspapers of those June 1940 days describe several Anglo-French attacks on non-military targets deep in Germany.
In the night of 3/4 June two airplanes dropped bombs that came down 10 to 18 kms east of "Hemmingen" (= Memmingen?) and others at and near "Rien" (= Riem airfield?).
One person was injured. This all in the wide Munich area.
In the same night bombs near the Morbach-Hoxel rail track, no damage.
Also bombs at/near Ingelsheim (= Ingelheim), Brausach (= Braubach?), St. Goarshausen, Frankfurt/Main and Bad Homburg, with three fatalities and six injured, plus damaged houses.

Leendert
