I fully agree that the travel distance of 865 km (if correct) is quite strange, because it means that Braun first flew 2 hours and 10 minutes across Germany first before making an emergency landing at an unknown location.
As the TOCH forum first remained quiet, I also put this question on the Luftwaffe Research Group forum, where members read something like '...stedt' and/or Sarstedt. I think they are right, but this does not solve the questions that Braun's flight has raised either
