I never read/recognized Egeskov as another option, but I agree that it could be read that way. At least it would be a logical location for a transfer flight to Denmark. On the other hand:
1) I guess that leading Danish air war historians like Sören Flendstedt or Jörn Junker to name a few would have known about this crash on land and
2) so far a majority read '...stedt' and if the first letter is a 'S' indeed, Saersted would be another option.
It remains however strange (with both options) that Braun flew so many kilometers and over more than two hours before he made an emergency landing. I have no reasonable explanation for that.
