L4 (Stalag Lift IV) - Sgt B. CONNORS - 1621408 - PoW number was 3828 - Lancaster DV191 EM-Q 207 Sqn Spilsby Loss 14.01.1944
As camp not opened to May 1944 - I would assume a lot of the initial men were transferred on opening? - It looks like initially he was at Stalag Luft 1 before Stalag Luft 4
However, saying that I can find no UK/Canadian etc Pow at Stalag Luft 4 with 3496 so yes very much looks like a US Serviceman
