1st Lt Durakov was the navigator of the Fryer crew. Their B-17 F 42-5913 (see MACR 828) crashed due to a mechanical failure at the village Slek near Echt in the province Limburg, Netherlands. Source: verliesregister_1943.pdf .
The MACR database has the wrong loss date 10 Oct 1943.
