Hi Nick

There was no direct radio link between the Air Force and the Navy. As far as I know, the Air Force did not use the Navy's PQ system (if they had an own system).
The indicated PQ 26684/15 West denotes the beach between Warkworth and Longhougton (approx. 50km N Newcastle upon Tyne / GB).
