This photo is very popular, but I havn't met any of it's identification, that could be accepted as reliable. In my opinion it is about 90% that it's February-March 1945 and the field is Mertensdorf (50 km SE of Kenigsberg). If it's April, the field is Heillingebeil.
I've doubt that the pilot could be identified ever. Some low-ranked flyer from 2-nd squadron, I belive.
