Data Plate Removed from Me 109-E, Belonging to Luftwaffe Fighter Ace Hauptman Ernst Wiggers, shot down and killed on 11th August near Lewes, and removed by a Police officer. Copy of photograph shows Weggers with the aircraft, victory stripes and Werke number are clearly visible, also copy of combat and Police report are included.
