Hi Paul,
Hard to believe but that is a Fairey Battle on Mourmelon-le-Grand aerodrome. It is the tail end of L5233 of 88 Squadron. I know nothing about how it came to be so damaged, whether it was destroyed during the air raids on May 10th or damaged during the missions to attack the Meuse bridges on May 14th. It is situated under the wing of a large French bomber, maybe a MB 200. There have been other EBay photos of this Battle over the years.
