Re: Photo Morane Saulnier
Hi Stig,
I suppose I could be looking at the same engine and thinking I'm seeing two different engines. The radiators on MS.625 appear completely vertical whereas on the machine I've posted the radiators look diagonal. But I'm thinking that this might be due to the location of the photographer.
What is certain is that this machine does resemble the Type S and doesn't resemble the line drawing of the Type X in Lacaze (which I have read!) at all. Two uses of the designation type X,one built and the other remaining on paper? Not the only reuse of a type designation by Morane Saulnier. But if it is as Type X as indicated by the photo one is left wondering how it differs from a Type S.
