I actually thought the trainer (Willow) shots were the most interesting of the lot.
Since most shots sems to be from his training days, is the Schiffer book good enough to identify which training unit this is all about?
Also can you see if the Zeros visible are from the same unit or if he moved to another unit/base for his advanced training? There are an interesting group of shots, of possibly A6M2 taking off, with the unit codes also seen under the wings. Anything the Schiffer book identifies?
