# 2 has me stumped. If it is indeed 1940 and France, there don't appear to be any candidates. The only three aircraft lost over Europe were:
L9451 13 Sep 40 - this was WR-V (Norway)
L9453 20 Oct 40 - this was WR-Z (Norway)
L9457 19 Aug 40 - this was WR-S (Norway)
Maybe it is L946_, which introduces many more candidates.
