I imagine every state with a navy had a simialar association. Der Flottenbund deutscher Frauen to give it its full name was a female component of the more famous Flottenverein. Charity work and collections were indeed undertaken in support of the navy. Reasonable to assume that there was a female component to the British Naval League of the same era.
