Re: Barry Rosch's database
Nick,
the database is an an access format that has a table for each make and model aircraft. Each table has information from losses, production, Flugbücher, documents and so forth published and from the archival sources. Each table has columns for the manufacturer, factory, type, WNr., codes and markings, unit, location, date, how the information was obtained, the source of the information, loss information and crew information if available. It also has tables about airfields and locations, units, Feldpostnummern, codes and so forth. It is very elaborate reference tool and easily searchable. I hope this helped a little. The project started shortly before the end of the Luftwaffe Verband. It was and still is a small group of contributors with Barry acting as the manager of the data. For example the Bf 109 table has 94450 entries alone.
Regards,
Norbert
