"Tip & Run" Raids Cornwall August 1942

On the 6th and 7th of August 1942 Cornwall suffered a couple of what are referred to locally as 'Tip & Run' raids as they usually involved a couple of aircraft dropping 500kg bombs having flown in low to avoid radar detection. The main target on the early evening of the 6th was Truro, although the village of St Breward on Bodmin Moor was also bombed. The main target on the 7th was Bodmin which was bombed at 1348 hours (local time).

I am wondering if anyone is able to identify the planes and pilots and the unit and airfield they came from please.

Local descriptions of the aircraft are vague but I suspect they were probably FW190s or an outside chance of Me Bf 109s.
Any assistance gratefully received.
