Yes, there is an index at Kew: AIR 40/2980, "Indexes to AI 1(k) Reports, including Middle East (ME), Allied Force Headquarters (AFHQ) and Combined Mediterranean Force (CMF) reports (1 Jan 1940 – 31 Dec 1944)".

I can't now remember if it includes prisoners' names but it does have units, aircraft types, armament, equipment etc. I only photographed a page covering things I was looking for that day (see attached).
