[KM1957]

I have another puzzler from a combat report by a 404 Fighter Group pilot, dated November 18, 1944. He claimed a Me 410 damaged northeast of Meschede, which I easily found on the internet. However, earlier in his report he mentions strafing a train in a marshalling yard at Maas (pretty sure that is what is written); I have had no luck finding such a town in Germany or even neighboring countries. Is there a Maas or was he just way off on his spelling? Thanks for any help on this one.
