One small UK-US publisher that has started to work with French colleagues (at Lela Presse) is Casemate. One Roba tome and one Saintes volume (forthcoming) along with two 'aces' titles last year adapted so far. Mortons are also about to dip their toes in the water. I'd imagine that UK publishers are put off by the supposed costs of translation - but its really not expensive at all ..if you know who to ask. Of course if the title has already appeared in French then sales are necessarily impacted, although I'd imagine that fewer UK-based bibliophiles are buying books from Europe since the start of the year. Its probably more likely that a French-language publisher will produce a title in English themselves though, IIRC Yannis at
