From many sources,P/O James Caister was shot down by von Bonin (I/JG54) after a fight off Manston (he lands in Guines-France!!!)
There is a "hic":von Bonin did not make a claim this day (and no mission of the I/JG54)

So,who actually shot Caister??....someone has an idea?
