Good morning,

On 06 March 1940, Hurricane Mk1 L1978, apparently serial No VY-X, piloted by Sergeant Stewart Lenton crashed on a joint affill exercise at Mons-En-Chaussee airfield, France.

I have requested the incident report from the PRO, but looking for a photo of the actual aircraft, there is pictures of later ones on the internet with the code VY-X. Also a long shot, any photos of Sgt Lenton.
