Ju 52 near Troyes 26-08-1944
ADI(K) report 509/1944 , which has brief notes of various crashes , shows B Ogef Rudolf Remele of 5/TG 3 taken pow following the loss near Troyes of the aircraft he was in . He was on a flight Metz to Cognac area in 4V+PN on the 25th to fly back wounded but after landing the aircraft was destroyed on the ground at Cognac. Next day he was a passenger on another Ju52 which took off evacuating nurses and other personnel but this was shot down he believed by AA around 0630 hrs. No other details of the fate of the others on this flight were shown , I believe Troyes was in Allied hands on the 25th . Are any more details of this loss known
