As the airman was missing, he should appear on Frappe's list. Unfortunatelly, Lisieux was quite a popular place for dog fights and plenty of aircraft were lost there.
I will try to check the list for possible candidates but still we need something allowing more positive identification. Were there any personal artefacts found? Does condition of the mortal remains allow any conclusions? Is the skull in condition good enough to attempt face reconstruction?
