Luftwaffe deserters in June 1941?
Hi all!
Does anyone have information about two deserted Ju 88s:
- I./KG 54. The crew was made up of Paul Hofbauer and Oskar Kuehn.
- Flight 154 (maybe KG 54?). Four men in the crew of which namely Rudolf Schmiedt is known.
It had to happen in June 1941 after German-Soviet conflict rised.
This information is based on soviet radio messages. Is it based on truth or was it propagandas made up story???
Any info appreciated.
