Re: Forgotten Heroes - Hungarian Aces of the WW II
Gentlemen,
regarding a possible German or French edition, the problems are the same (finding a publisher and a good translator)
BTW yes, I guess, this project would be interesting for the German and French readers as well (I know, for example, that the French edition of Tibor Tobak's book was really succesful) And this book contains many unpublished info not just about the Hungarian pilots, of course. It contains many unknown details about the Luftwaffe (for example a detailed story of a shot down German plane by an error of a Hungarian ace with the WNr and many other details, stories, when the same plane was claimed by German and Hungarian pilots or German Flak, etc) It contains many unpublished info about the 15th AAF too (mostly about the victims and defeaters of the Hungarian pilots, with photos), and the situation is the same with the VVS as well (again unpublished details about their victims and defeaters)
Flavio,
The exact Hungarian title is:
Elfelejtett hősök A Magyar Királyi Honvéd Légierő ászai a második világháborúban (Forgotten Heroes Aces of the Royal Hungarian Air Force in World War II)
The ISBN is: 963 9673 064
Are you interested in the Hungarian edition as well?
